Final Day 8

On your last day they provide a breakfast fit for a king. An entree of fruit, coconut oil, SLAP & sheep's yoghurt.

Followed by a tasty scrambled eggs combination.

Some of the guests went home in style!

Day 7

The alarm goes off at 4.00 am & we assemble at the mess hall for a short drive to the base of the mountain in the Cooroora National Park.
27 minutes and 18 seconds later I was at the top, exhausted and out of breath but the view as the sun came up was well worth the effort!

Day 6

Our second food day in a row starts with a walk up the local driveways ......

followed by our regular Stretch Class

Breakfast was superb!
After a final naturopathic assessment a Clay Wrap was on the cards (no homo) to rid the body of more toxins and to take my manliness to a new (low) level.

Lunch was a delicious combination of vegetarian rissoles with a haloumi salad.

After lunch a  Self Love session was followed by another steam bath.

A very disturbing lecture on the dangers of mercury amalgam fillings and root canals sent us off to bed to prepare for tomorrows 4.00 am mountain climb

Day 5

An absolutely glorious day in Health Land today starts as usual with a walk through neighbouring farms.
As the sun came up it was spectacular to say the least
After a go at the Cellercise Trampolines a magnificent breakfast was served - poached eggs, rocket, avocado, tomato, brie cheese and pesto sauce.
I brought away a camera without a charger so a quick trip into Gympie solved the problem, in anticipation of the Mountain Climb tomorrow.

Check out the main road to Gympie!

Another massage by Justin, a former Logan boy and an unbelievable lunch of Thai Tempe Salad and it was back to the room for a lie down!!

A few of the crew took off for a walk across the ridge and a steam bath before Broth and the second part of a lecture on Body Chemistry.

Day 4

At 6.00 the group meet at the gate for a walk with one of the young locals.

A short stroll up a country track

Gets us to the top of a magnifiicent valley
Back at the ranch for stretch class and a naturopath consult - not all good news but there will be a solution!

Next came a Lymphatic Drainage - I dont know what John did or how effective it was but it was the most relaxed I have been for a long time.
The best part of today was lunch - yes real food for the first time since Sunday.

And what a feast it was -

Cooking lessons followed by a steam bath and a lecture on our pH balance.

Excellent day again.

Day 3

Day 3 starts with a 5.45 alarm as I have a scheduled appointment at 6.00 am to do the Isotonic (2 litres of warm salty water designed to aid digestive cleansing).

See for your self....

Stay tuned for video - I have cosnulted my blog expert.

After the Isotonic I carefully attended the Stretch Class & downed the Detox Shake for breakfast.

I then took off for a walk into the hills to get some Vitamnin D - unfortunately the rain slowed down that process a little!

I wonder????

Back for a steam bath and a juice, slothed around until lunch (another Detox Shake) and then off for a massage with John.

Another steam and it was time for dinner (more broth) and a very interetsing lecture on Meal Planning from Gary Martin the owner.

It is now after 9.30 pm and well past this bloggers bedtime....

Day 2

The day started after a good nights sleep around 5.30 am.

The first item on the agenda of a busy Living Valley day I took off for the Red Walk, the longest of the walks around the grounds - about 2.4 km. Doesn't sound like much but half of it was straight up and other straight down, and a little challenging after all the rains.

But it was worth it!!

Up....
 The view from the top...

 and down....

The rest of the morning was taken up with stretching class, a colonic (no pictures sorry) and a steam bath.

After morning tea (vegetable juice) and with two hours before lunch, I though I would take a drive to the big smoke - the township of Pomona lies about 15 kms away and boast 1600 people, a pub and a few coffee shops. Most of it went under water recently in the floods.

I came across a Salvos Shop and went in and scored big....

Classic Hawaiian Shirt and a pair of Disco Rivers for less than $10!!!

Back to camp and a boxercise class, another steam bath, dinner and a lecture on the 8 Laws of Health.

All in all a very productive Living Springs day.

Tomorrow brings more stress at 6.00 am in the form of an Isotonic (2 litres of salt water drunk quickly to flush out the digestive tract).

Off to bed with me.

Day 1

The day has finally arrived and the car is packed for a full seven days with no work, no alcohol, no (or very little) food!!!

How very unusual.
There is even very little chance of a surf until next Sunday - although if Noosa starts to work later in the week with increased swell they may find this little detoxer AWOL for a few hours!

The grounds are exactly what you would expect in the Noosa Hinterland - green and quiet!

The introductions and tour of the grounds over we tuck into our first (and possibly last) meal, at least for a few days!

Next came a consultation with one of the naturopaths to design a program for the week and then a steam bath before dinner (read cup of vegetable broth).

I am so full I retire to my room for an early night - the festivities start at 5.00 am tomorrow for a group walk, a stretch and then a colonic.

Whoo hoo!!!!
